Workshop and Laboratory Coordinator (Engineering Research and Teaching)

Salary on appointment will be £30,805 per annum, with an annual increment up to £37,174 per annum.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a group of Laboratories or services within the Faculty. You will be responsible for the provision of a high standard support service delivered by a team of staff covering the areas of responsibility.
You will be expected to keep up to date with current Health and Safety regulations and policies and, ensure that all laboratory users comply with Health and Safety guidelines, policy and regulations.
The role covers a number of laboratories across the Science Faculty (Engineering) and, you will be managing the procurement and provision of goods and services from internal and external suppliers, in addition to arranging maintenance and service contracts with external suppliers.
This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis and will be campus based.
