Timetabling and Room Booking Team

Administrator (Timetabling and Room Booking) (full-time, fixed term for 8 months)

Starting salary from £22,681 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £24,533 per annum
 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator post in the LTS Timetabling and Room Booking team to undertake administrative duties to assist with the production of the University timetables. This includes data collection, data checking, rooming of teaching events, student group allocation and change requests.
 
You will provide efficient, pro-active support, with a high level of accuracy. You will work closely with the LTS programme teams, and the timetable leads in the Schools. The role will focus on the Timetabling responsibilities in the Job Description, which include working in Timetabler to establish teaching timetables, problem solving, room allocation and reporting. You will also assist with the provision of advice and guidance on use of the software.
 
You will have a good standard of secondary education or equivalent experience in a similar role. Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential as is the ability to manage a varied workload in a high paced environment. Previous experience in timetabling would be advantageous.
 
This full-time (or part-time) post is available from 4 November 2024 on a fixed term basis for eight months.  A secondment will be considered, and applicants should please ensure that a secondment will be possible with their Line Manager/Head of Department, before submitting a formal application.
