We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Lecturer in Psychology for Speech & Language Therapy to join our experienced and dedicated academic team. 
 
The successful candidate will contribute to the education and student support of our pre-registration Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) students, overseeing the psychology and some of the biology content across the programme, facilitating problem-based learning groups, supervising dissertations, and assessing students in research methods.
 
You will have postgraduate-level expertise in a field of psychology relevant to the training of SLT students (cognitive and/or developmental psychology). You will have an understanding of the role of psychology as a core discipline in SLT education, experience of educating learners in a higher education context, and a repertoire of skills that extend beyond the psychology specialism and will contribute more widely to a range of School priorities and educational provision.
 
The post is available from 1 September 2024 on a part-time (0.65FTE) basis for a fixed term period of 20 months. This appointment will be subject to an enhanced criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
