Recruitment Events Assistant (Fixed term until 4 December 2025)

Salary on appointment will be £22,681 per annum with an annual increment up to £24,533 per annum. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Events Assistant to join the Recruitment Events Team within Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing.

You will work as part of a team which has responsibility for the organisation and delivery of recruitment events such as the main university Open Days, Applicant Days, campus tour events, along with a number of other student recruitment focused activities. You will work with colleagues across the department and the university to ensure the successful coordination of student recruitment activity.

You will have experience of:

  • working as part of a team to achieve a shared objectives.
  • assisting in the delivery of promotional events along with working in a busy administrative role.
  • being organised, self-motivated and able to use your own initiative to solve problems.

You will be flexible, and you will need to be willing to undertake additional duties, further training, and weekend work. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

This full-time post is available on a fixed term basis from 15 July 2024 until 4 December 2025. 

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Child Barred List. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
