Lecturer in Social Work (Part-time, 0.8 FTE, fixed term for 3 years)

Salary on appointment will be £44,737 per annum pro rata, with an annual increment up to £51,805 per annum pro rata.
The School of Social Work at UEA is an internationally recognised centre of excellence in social work research and teaching, ranking 4th for overall research quality in Social Work and Social Policy in REF 2021. It is also home to the highly successful Centre for Research on Children and Families.
We wish to appoint a Lecturer in Social Work to join the teaching team for our Social Work Apprenticeship programme. There will also be opportunities to teach on other UG and MA programmes within the School.
We welcome applications from candidates with a range of relevant knowledge and experience but have a preference for a candidate who has an interest in statutory social work with adults or with children and families. A professional social work qualification and experience of delivering high quality social work teaching and/or training is essential.
This post is available from 1 January 2024 on a part time (0.8 FTE) fixed term basis for 3 years.
Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Basic level from the Disclosure and Barring Service
