Research Administrator

Starting salary from £23,715 per annum (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £27,131 per annum (pro rata).
We are recruiting a Research Administrator to join a friendly team in Research & Innovation Services supporting the preparation of grant applications and awards for the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Key duties include preparing detailed costings, assisting with the preparation and submission of grant proposals to funders, producing award documentation and maintaining electronic records.
We are looking for someone with strong administrative skills and experience of preparing budgets. You will be able to manage a busy workload with fixed deadlines, work collaboratively and communicate well with colleagues.
This 0.8FTE post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
