Early Years Practitioner (1 x full-time, fixed term role)

Salary on appointment will be £23,550 per annum (£12.07 per hour), with an annual increment up to £24,221 per annum (£12.42 per hour).

The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our outstanding team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting children's growth and development, who enjoys being creative, and is committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities tailored to each child’s needs and interests.
- Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment where children feel valued and supported.
- Monitor and record children’s progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning space.
- Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them develop.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- A positive, flexible, and proactive approach.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Child Barred List. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave. You will be working 37 ½ hours per week year-round Mondays to Fridays.
